Why Choose This Program

The Business Management program will be phased out after Fall 2019. Good news though - you can enter the Business Transfer Pathway, which provides for the first two years of a bachelor's degree and easy transfer to Minnesota State universities.

This degree builds a strong foundation in general business topics and gives students the ability to choose to concentrate in accounting, finance and credit, or sales management, marketing. Each elective area focuses students' practical knowledge in their field of study and provides opportunities to apply these skills in a variety of settings.

The Business Management AS Degree at SCTCC is a flexible degree designed for students who want to continue their education and/or enter the workforce. Emphasis is placed on developing skills in decision-making, interpersonal communication, critical thinking, project management and problem solving.

This program is available online and on campus. More info

Business Management
I used my experience and degree from SCTCC to form a business I started in St. Cloud to assist businesses with their marketing needs by supplying them with digital graphics, banners, window clings, and other marketing materials. I would not have achieved any of these accomplishments if it hadn’t been for SCTCC.

The classes that I have taken have perfectly with my current career as a Manager. I have grown personally and professionally through this whole experience. Getting a degree later in life can be daunting, but SCTCC has made my educational journey truly a success and something that I am proud to say that I’m accomplishing.
