Automotive Service Tech students place at MN SkillsUSA

The SCTCC Automotive Services Technician program students participated in the 2017 SkillsUSA Minnesota State Conference held March 31-April 2.

Richard Rose placed first in the Automotive Technician category and Sam Peterson placed second. Rose will be headed to Louisville, KY, in June to compete at the national level.

SkillsUSA Minnesota is a Career & Technical Organization that provides leadership training, volunteer opportunities, competitions, and conferences to enhance students’ self-worth and employability skills. Winners of the state contests have the opportunity to go on to a national level competition.
