Why Choose This Program

Seeing those first images of a baby in utero are magical moments for expectant moms. The expertise behind those images resides with ultrasound technologists, also known as sonographers.

Sonographers perform and analyze ultrasound images through the use of high frequency sound waves for a variety of procedures beyond obstetrics. Sonographers also put their skills to work scanning abdominal organs, breasts, superficial structures, vascular and musculoskeletal systems.

Graduates of the sonography program find meaningful work in hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, and mobile scanning services. Those looking for additional career opportunities can explore sales and marketing for ultrasound manufacturers, research, and education.

See if a career as an ultrasound technologist is right for you. Learn more about the sonography program.
