STAR Camp 2019 will take place June 10-14.

S.T.A.R. Camp (Students, Technology, And Robots) is an annual summer camp hosted by St. Cloud Technical and Community College (SCTCC) for students in 6-8th grade who work in teams to build, program, engineer, and operate a VEX robot.

Throughout the week-long day camp, students rotate through the advanced manufacturing programs at SCTCC while learning how to weld, create 3D designs, machine tool designs for their robots, and program and build their robots. There will also be eight students from SCTCC’s manufacturing program, along with faculty members, to help mentor and guide the students. One day is spent touring a local manufacturer where they see robotics in action. The final day of S.T.A.R. Camp is spent in friendly competition with family and friends invited to attend and see what the students have created and learned.
