William Tuoy-Giel serves as a TRIO Student Support Services Director at St. Cloud Technical and Community College. He earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership with emphases in Community College and Higher Education from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Family and Human Development Studies from Arizona State University.
Mr. Tuoy-Giel is an alumni and full beneficiary of the National TRIO Student Support Services Program. Prior to joining St. Cloud Technical and Community College, William served in several academic and student affairs positions at Maricopa Community Colleges system. He also served as a Marketing Research Assistant with Snell and Wilmer, LLC, and worked in security, retails and hospitality industries in Phoenix Metropolitan areas.
Currently, he manages the TRIO Student Support Services ‘day-to-day operation of the office. He also serves and advocates for its students to succeed. During his free time, he volunteers at local community-based organizations and enjoys spending time with his family in various outdoor activities such as hiking, baseball, and exercising.
TRIO Academic Advisor
LeAnn Pueringer is a TRIO Student Support Services Advisor at the St. Cloud Technical and Community College. She has worked with the SSS program for 8 years. LeAnn has her graduate’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology from St. Cloud State University and has a love of learning. In LeAnn’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family, baking, taking educational classes and reading. LeAnn loves helping others and is excited to be part of students success.
TRIO Academic Advisor
Jayne Balicky serves as a TRIO Student Support Services Advisor and Technology Coordinator at St. Cloud Technical and Community College. She earned a master of arts in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and a bachelor of arts in Business and Public Relations from Coe College. Prior to her current TRIO SSS role, Jayne worked in advising, admissions, student life, and residential life at both 2-year and 4-year public institutions. Her favorite part of being an advisor is motivating students and helping them get the support they need to reach graduation. In her free time, Jayne enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, and learning new things.
